The Trekker X is equipped with three heating options: electric heating, LPG gas heating and our upgraded Autoterm diesel heater.

The Autoterm heater uses a small amount of diesel directly from the van’s main fuel tank to provide powerful, efficient heating.

When on electric hookup:
We recommend using the electric heating, as this is the simplest and most economical option.

When off-grid:
The Autoterm diesel heater is by far the most cost-effective option. It provides efficient heating without using your LPG gas supply, making it ideal when wild camping or staying somewhere without an electric hookup.

The Autoterm system is also particularly useful for keeping the van warm overnight while conserving your LPG supply.
